Eco-friendly aspects
Environmental sustainability is important to CHILDREN-Nepal and will feature prominently in the (FCRC). We will incorporate many eco-friendly designs and processes, including:
- Food - promote local and organic food.
- Energy - increase use of solar energy, biogas and natural light
- Waste management - organic waste will be used for compost and biogas,
- Non-organic waste will be reduced, reused, and recycled.
- Construction materials - use of local resources as much as possible
- Construction - minimizes destruction of nature by construction small,
- Decentralized housing.
Building the facility in the site proposed not only creates a self-sustaining
Project with revenue for the CHILDREN-Nepal, but also brings it into the
Village settings, providing work for the underdeveloped community area.
